Shaw Built was founded in 2020 by Luke Shaw. Luke brings over 25 years of construction experience spanning the UK, Australia, New York City and Santa Cruz.
What began as a young carpenter’s way to earn money evolved into a lifelong craft, shaped by decades of hands-on construction experience, leading roles in high-end design-build projects and meticulous restoration work.
Today, Shaw Built exists to help clients create beautiful and functional spaces, guided by honesty, creativity and value-driven decisions.
The Shaw Built team blends diverse expertise from the UK, New York, San Francisco and Santa Cruz.
With backgrounds in architecture, interior design, project management, drafting and carpentry, we approach each project with a wide-ranging design sensibility and deep technical knowledge.
